Think from the sounds of it facilities will be minimal, perhaps be a good idea to bring our own provisions..beers etc for the first evening?
Maybe even a stop at the Local kentucky type place so we can get stuck into meeting each other over a sociable drink, so to speak..? without starving to death.... ;D ;D

Proposed plan s far. - Arrive on Sat 22nd 3.0pm onwards
- Sat night find a KFC / Chippy etc for dinner.
Ideal is a pub in walking distance. (I can check this with a mate at work who goes to Popham frequently) Failing that emergancy beers.
- I will also ask mate re local breakfast. Can't see me having room on the bike for my camp cooker (trangier)
- Sunday leave around mid day to ride home.

What No Trangier Cook kit... next thing you'll be telling me that we won't be sleeping in the Big 'Akela' style tent you have and have to provide our own sleeping facilities...... But on the other hand, it does sound like a good plan Rj.. ;D Hope to be buying a 2/3 person tent by then, so me putting it up should cause some amusement... Obviously with some experienced hands alongside the humiliation will be short as other step in to help...they will won't they.. Pub nearby would be my choice, although weekend and bike show may make it a tiny bit busy... Sunday off for grub, then tents down, and a jolly ride home... ;D

Talking of which might be popping into Loomies on weds this week if any one is out and about.... Day time trip, or on the evening? If evening, do check what time they close! Regrets I have a busy daytime schedule, then on the evening I'll be foredeck monkey for a race to Cowes for "refreshments" and some of the finest fish and chips in Christendom, before a night sail back.

Well, seeing as the dutch representation is somewhat non-exsistant now that Franklin can't make it, I guess I will have to drag myself all the way there I can't make any promises yet, but it should be doable. Only question remains....do I take the Revere or the Strom.... And do I bring my cooker (well...it's a small burner, but I can make coffee) Ow and another thing....what is the max load on an NTV and how far will I need to go over it to take everything I want?

Yeah that franklin, a lousy several hondred mile journey and he can't make it.. . (Hi franklin, gonna be missed M8.. ;D ) But Buzzin that would be great. I would suggest that we roll out skys Plan A and have a ride down to Dover to escort you to London/Popham/Your hotel etc; Plenty of time but lots of planning to do now...

I have checked and there is a little chef we can walk to or ride if we want more choice.
bringing beers seem to be the order of the day. (That way we can have a beer while we watch the entertainment [jaz]) lol
