I bought a 97 NTV650 yesterday and everything is perfect... except the pegs, or as I have dubbed them. Foot breakers.
I was wondering if anyone else had or has problems with their stock pegs and set up. My own set up right now has the gear lever about an inch lower than the foot peg, making it extremely difficult (and painful due to the nub sized arm on the lever) to change up a gear. The peg also appears to have gone a little slack on that side. The brake lever is the opposite, it appears to sit an inch or so higher than the peg, making pulling away a little difficult (fantastic braking ability though) as I can either have my foot on the peg or on the brake, but not both at the same time.
I will post pictures soon, I just haven't been on the bike during daylight hours yet.
Does anyone have, or has had a similar problem with their NTV? I think I may need a little more than a basic adjustment because of the rather slack feeling left peg. Anyone have any advice on good pegs for the NTV? Any favourite brands or manufacturers?

Use the search window in the top-right. The Deauville pegs will fit with some modifications.
