This is a unique Honda "intelligent variable valve timing and lift control system," car engine valve using the principle of the work, the valve lift is maximized, to have the valve to match the speed of the stack in a variety of open ignition angle and the corresponding angle. The first application of the principle of BMW and Honda, which is the market's best engine power press cars (except booster)which has high performance rods such as Laser conrods, just two different models of control and enforcement agencies, the principle is the same. As for what later VVT, VTI, and so have suspected plagiarism.

Not a lot. The VTEC system on the VFR is different to this - just a way of using 2 valves rather than 4 at lower engine speeds.
