gearbox/clutch issue

hi guys

hope everyone is well on this dry evening, i have just bought my 4th ntv, got it back all seemed ok until the next day when i was riding around town, all the gears work fine, does not jump out of gear, goes through the gears up and down nice and smooth but when i shut the throttle down there is like a whine coming from either the gearbox or clutch, if i pull the clutch in it goes away, on idle the thrust bearing makes a noise,it feels like something is dragging aswell when its making the noise, i hope its something wrong with the clutch and not the gearbox as i have heard the storeys about gearbox issues, but ive never had one yet, my ntv has done 60k but rides very well,
any good advice would be great,
