My first bike was a Kawasaki z550. Got it for free, but with the promise to give it back at some point... Had a lot of fun with it, especially with constantly repairing it

I started out on a 1972 Suzuki B120, I loved her to bits but it was too small to take my test on, so I got a 1982 CG 125 in black and I loved her to pieces. Sold her when I passed my test for a Kwak Z250 Scorpion, what a mistake that was.. 4 months after I bought that Kwak I bought my NTV and haven't looked back.

First Bike was a 1979 CR80 ( that was in 1981 when i was 9 years old ) yes, was an off road bike. Then got a another CR80 in 1983 and had to get a big wheel conversion cos i was a bit too tall. then went onto a CR125 in 1987 ( brand spanking new ) which i rode until 1991...when i had my first go on a 1985 CR500..... what great bike.... well i got one at the end of 1991 which i have had ever since, share it with my dad.. although i really don't get out on it that much anymore..... but even though it's 18 years old now.... still leaves those 450CRF behind ;D Just don't like stopping for the corners !!!! also now have the NTV 600 Trike and NTV 650 Bike..... but don't have a bike license.... hence the trike

yelowmelos ..get yourself out and pass that test.. You got the skill and ability ;D ;D and even IF you never need it it is always handy to have.. Never know when a great bike offer will come up, and without a licence you'll have to say No....

Traffic and fuel argument wont work either... fuel is paid for by the company and the traffic is always going in the opposite direction... she don't mind me being home late.. as long as i am not drunk

First bike? Ariel Arrow dragged out of a hedge by me and my mate Pip. As we were only 14 it couldn't have been us on the road officer, definitely only used that bad boy over fields (with permission of course!).
That was 35 years ago and I've only had one spell without 2 wheels of some (motorised) kind, that was 5 years in the late '90s due to medical reasons (don't ask, I can bore for Britain on this, believe me!) - longest 5 years of my life!
From memory:
Ariel Arrow Puch Maxi Garelli step-thru Gilera step-thru Suzuki FR80 Honda CB200 MZ250 Supa5 (only new bike - written off in a SMIDSY at 5 weeks old!) MZ250 Supa5 (with Honda TLS front brake - not getting SMIDSY'ed with that anchor) Honda CM250T Yamaha XS250 (the year of hell) Yamaha XS750
break for medicals, sell XS750, get cured 6 months later .....
Honda CX650E BMW K100 Honda NX650 Dominatrix Honda XBR500 Suzuki GN400 (still got in the shed) Honda NTV650
Yeah, that's about it - looking for a project bike now to keep the spanners happy - maybe do a trade with the GN for something interesting. Let's face it, the NTV ain't going to need much fettling, so how do I get me some serious shed time?
