haynes manual is telling me i should have 1x 15a fuse and 3x 10a fuses in ntv650 models p s and t models here is a picture of my fusebox with the diagram showing that the haynes manual is wrong anyone with a haynes manual please note this could mess up your electrics i60.tinypic.com/dlrdr9.jpgwhat is ironic about my post here well if you check the picture you will notice the previous owner has put in 3 x15a fuses ''what where they thinking'' no wonder i have to no brake lights working and a problem with a indicator flashing faster on the left side. and i bet when i replace the fuse it wont solve the problem there will be more damage to work on.

:)hi undercover, good picture of fuse box. try and check if you have supply to fuse for tail light , can make a simple circuit tester with 12v bulb holder and two wires if you dont have circuit muti meter tester.

yeah it's a little costly error i found a 15a fuse in the place of a 10a and both my brake switches are shot just going to check the circuit today. not looking good the previous owner was a plank even the speedo cable fell out the other day from the dials end and i found loads and loads of celotape i think he taped the thing on and not screwed in in Ha Ha

He was a genius. Do you have any idea how hard it is to apply tape with a screwdriver?

you dont need a screwdriver for the speedodrive cable you just screw the end in with your thumb. what is a mazing he had to take the fairing off to celotape up the connection. now that is a legend at work

ohhh i gets worse checked the bulbs one side flashing faster atleast the wiring is good but i find 2 diffrent bulbs in the front indicator. left side a blown but still flashing 5w 12v and on the right side a 10w 12v tinypic.com/view.php?pic=nppg6a&s=8#.U0a23aJN34g now i am confused because the crappy powerbronze fairing has non standard lights. so i dont know what replacement bulb's to put in any advice my guess would be the to replace them with 10w 12v bulbs. only because thats the one bulb that hasn't blown.

Well...al I know is that standard bulbs would be 21W for indicators, fog light and brake lights. 5W is normal for rear and running/marking light (those on the side) So even 10W seems a little low...
Have you tried a normal 21W bulb?
If that doesn't fit....I would go with the 10W as well.

cheers buzzin i went to halfords and asked someone they said it dosen't matter if the bulb is 5 w or 10 it's just the power it sucks from the altinator. i took the 10 w they are for those horrible after market fairing indicators the screw on to the side of the fairing there small bulbs not oem 21w i have 21w bulbs on the rear indicators. you should get the idea with my avitar just a tip for anyone with a powerbronze fairing thinking about changing your bulb you will need magnifying glass and a torch the screws and nut that hold the indicator cover on are about a mm wide. and the nice person that fitted it replaced the horns where there is any room to get your hands behind the fairing. and does anybody notice how powerbronze screens direct the wind to the temple of your head. that thing is comming off

Those Indicators are meant to have special mini 21w bulbs# in them (or at least the ones I had years ago did)
#(they looked just like the 10w but was higher rated.)
