My first bike, a Triumph Tiger Cub, regularly suffered from the same problem. I'd put it into gear, pull in the clutch and rock the bike backwards and forwards. That usually freed it. A word of warning. On one occasion that method didn't work and in desperation I started the engine and kicked it into gear. The result -- one shattered gear cog and a major engine strip-down to repair it.

Used to have the same problem with my old Kawasaki gpz500 if I left it a week or so. As Kingpenda said I just used to put it in gear rock it back and forth a bit before starting.

hi what oil are you using in your ntv,, they don't seem to like the fully synthetic oil.. makes the clutch plates stick . used mineral oil in mine with no problems.. just a thought mate.. no expert.

A friend of mine has the sticky clutch prob on his blade after fitting heavy duty clutch springs, if he knows he's not gonna use the bike he ties the clutch lever to the handle bars to stop the plates sticking.
Might be an idea to think of if your clutch keeps doing this.
