Bike needs MOT at mo so getting that done this week.. Lucky us ! we haven't got an MOT for bikes.......yet I believe European Parliament are talking about new legislation this week which could force the Dutch governement to make the MOT also mandatory for motorbikes. how goes job, i remember you leaving a good one for an even better one...lucky bugger.. Well, I haven't been sacked so far. So I assume it's OK. Not as exciting as my previous job, but the pay is good & it keeps me off the streets. GvS

Nice bikes those I've always liked them, so you sold the NTV yet?
I noticed on your list replace connector with cable connectors I had two to do on the NTV and managed to keep it stock through asking a guy breaking to chop of a connector with a decent tail and an excellent firm o a bay that sell loads of types who had the accursed reg/rectif connector, I figure that if I need to go there again I won't have any extra to do.
How to you find the access? As bad as everyone says I only worked one once back in 1990.

My Revere is still for sale. Not on eBay yet as I still need her to get to work. Which with luck will change very soon :-)
With the fairings off access looks good. (Only watched) checking the valve clearances looked the most restricted, but not commented on.
The plug will not be seen once the fairings are back on and unless the engine needs to come out I can live with non stock.
The rec reg was replaced complete with plugs.

First ride out of town today.
Over the chain ferry for a quick blast road the bay.
She handled like a dream and pulled like a train.
