hi steve looked on web for you... there are about 10 sites on the isle of wight for you..
one looks good Compton farm camping and caravan site.. 01983 740215..
they charge 8.50 a night for camping not bad for price.. try looking at there small web page.
site is near freshwater bay.

thanks steve, rj2para.. wow a couple of months.. if you end up liking site..
you will be able to negotiate lower price with owners. most site operators are open to this..
stayed at site for six months in Brittany on holiday two years ago.. worked out deal with owners.
3 hrs work ,5 days a week , cutting grass, site maintenance, for free meals, and caravan..and some beer ,wine included.
