You may think this a Victim less crime..But you couldn't be more wrong..Any one seen the Bisto Kids recently...mmh Or belinda bellingham? No ...Exactly! So Take Caution..this man is a trained scout leader and can tie you up in Knots you have never heard of... He is totally ruthless, and was last seen in the vicinity of a weeping child after "Borrowing".. her bike for an undetermined time.. he is also known as a lone wolf, because he has no real need of friends as his 'Single seat' Fixation will testify... Is currently using the Alias "Snuffle" see Forum Map for more details.... ;D ;D ;D So approach with great care.....

Is currently using the Alias "Snuffle" He is a real pro "Snuffle" has two pins, one which is clearly "Lone Wolf" in Poole, he has a decoy posted near Dublin too (at the bottom of the pin list) They seek him here, they seek him there. That damned Pimp(ernel) is everywhere He is the leader of a merciless gang of extortionists. They will demand money with menaces after washing your car, weeding your garden or popping to the shop for some sugar - they have no pity and leave the mark of shame as a warning to others - the black tick! (Shows my age doesn't it? - I'll bet Hubcap and the other young ones are wondering what unusual mushrooms I had for breakfast this morning!)

Further development on the aluminium back rest / luggage rack: The actual back rest (adjustable !) is now fitted. Still got to fit the whole thing on the bike.... Franklin

Looking good Franklin. Thanks mate, I can see my rep as a bad ass biker being shattered. Popham could be one of the last outings for my wooden seat.

It's finished ! Have a look at this: Aluminium tube can (of course) be shortened. Use two additional tie-wraps to prevent it getting stolen. I (temporarely) removed my topbox for taking the photo's. I will take the whole thing apart and send it to you Mr. Roger (aka the "Bisto kid). One disadvantage: you can't use it to hammer tent pegs in the ground. Franklin

That's an impressive and innovative piece of engineering Franklin
RJ - I'm sure you will be pleased with it. Only 2 disadvantages - as Franklin says "you can't hammer in tent pegs with it" and of course, you don't have emergency fuel for the fire, unless you strap the scaffold board on top.
Looking forward to your post after road testing

;D A quick note to say "my new seat has arrived" There was a knock at the door this afternoon. And the man from TNT delivered my brown paper package. Like pass the parcel and just as fun, I opened it layer by layer eventually ending up with my lounge covered in paper, wrapping, nuts, bolts and lengths of aluminium. Currently I have it bolted together with a first fix on the bike. Some nuts need a tighten. Rain drops and a drop in air temperature forced me in doors. If the sun comes out tomorrow I should be on for a final phase 1 fix, then a trip to the corner shop, as a test ride followed by a full post with pictures. Thanks again Franklin. Much Karma on its way to you. And brown powder, when you current stock dips. Roger AKA. (The Bisto Kid) P.S. If anybody want's a wooden seat let me know and I will bring it to our next ride out. It makes a great hammer

Nice to know the parcel arrived in 1 piece. Like you said: it was a bunch nuts & bolt & aluminium. So I may have used a bit too much bubbly foil......... Your kids will love bursting all the bubbles (well, at least mine always do). Franklin

The wrapping made sure it all got here, which is very good. ;D With the added bonus that I have plenty or wrap for the next brown powder shipment.

Fitted and ready to ride. As ever, click on each image to enlarge.P.S. Note the picture for concerned readers, was taken off road! I did then put on my helmet, jacket and gloves before the test ride. A closer view Initial adjustments have been made using Franklin's built in adjustment points. I have also added a washer (from my old washing machine) at the back with a lock nut as a security feature. I may mount it closer and will add a few more round top bolts to protect the seat. currently protected with the extra material Franklin sent over. Already much better than my wooden block. ;D
