This was how my conversion looked a few weeks ago (for those who haven't realised, this is Outlaw's old bike). With Deauville hangers fitted, deauville gearchange and deauville sprocket cover on the left, and Deauville brake pedal on the right. You will notice I've been experimenting with the footpegs - these are lowered a further inch, but if you imagine standard NTV footpegs fitted to the hangers then all the controls line up. Deauville hangers must have the Deauville gear change and sprocket cover, but you can keep the NTV brake pedal. Everything else simply bolts on. I'm actually reverting back to the NTV hangers as I personally feel the Deauville ones don't look so good, and are going to make things difficult for me when I come to fit my Wingrack! And now I have my raised handlebars and the lowered footpegs I think it's roomy enough for me (6ft 1). Hope these pics help as well......

Hmm, I got the impression it was the gearchange I had to keep but use the Deauville brake pedal.
I might get stuck into this tomorrow but I have lighting and oil/air service to do first! Sent from my HTC Desire S using ProBoards

Hi all, I install footrests from Deauville to NTV Today, but I found some troubles. 1.rear break pump has higher position and it is necessary little cut right plastic cover 2. I dont know how to connect exhaust silencer and right footrest holder (longer exhaust) - do you have some picture? Thanks

Members so far have done this with a short pipe I think as that is what they had.
Can you post some pictures of your bike then we can see your problem and all think of potential solutions?
May be quicker.

I did it with the Fuel can fitted. The rearmost hole on the hanger is ideally placed to bolt the Fuel bracket to. He did too image added. Simples Anybody don it with a Motad? Rj

I am trying to fix up an old Post from Outlaw. The first on this forum to try the Deauville hangers.
Any more picture would be good.
I will then use the best from this and Wolfy / Thatsawkwards post to update a detailed page on the website.

A simple flat steel bar drilled to suit and bolted up will suffice surely?

It is possible make hole and use a bolt, but it will looks terrible I´m prefering nicer results (silencer clip as has wolfy is last possibility) I will try make some aluminum (or stainless steel) holder, but I haven´t idea where I can fix it at this moment.

I think i have a fix using a Honda Bros headlamp bracket, a long bolt and a spacer, you will need to drll 2 holes, 1 in the exhaust clamp and 1 in the dullville bracket... see what you think on the photo's.... s220.photobucket.com/albums/dd106/ilegalalien/BITZ/

it is not vissible on photos how you have connect to footrest, but my main problem is that I have long exhaust silencer ("Second edition" of NTV,since this bike name has only NTV) Thank you for your advice

Why not utilise the hole in the casting to the left and rear of the rear footrest? It`s simple to do.

bump for a real thread ive been looking at the kits you can buy anywhere from 75 quid to 130 but this is much better hangers are anywhere from 15 to 30 quid on ebay depending if they come with pegs gonna go down this route i think - even the expensive ones are asking 25 a side so 50 all in a few bolts and washers extra - still wayyy ahead good one
