Hi All, I have launched a new website for people working on project bikes, www.motorcycleprojects.com. It's something I have become very interested in personally so thought to set up a site dedicated to it. I have a Honda Revere 650 myself so decided it might be nice to invite some fellow NTV'ers to have a look and maybe contribute. The idea is that people can post their project bikes and share experiences. It is very spartan at the moment and in beta mode but when we get some nice projects up there it should make a difference. Thanks Prof

Professore, Firstly welcome to the site. It is always good to when we get a new member and always good to hear about projects. We already have lots of similar information on this site and a number of member have their own sites linked in various ways to this site. Personally I would like to see you join our site first and join in the banter, sharing some of the tales about your bike here, before you try and drag us all over to your site. Pull up a chair tell us more about your bike and your rides etc. I am also learning to build my site. So welcome the input from a fellow developer. I am already working with another member on my site. www.hondantv.co.uk/I see my site as a way to draw in members and highlight specific items. I am not sure where your site is headed? Regards Roger

Hi Bob and welcome aboard our great forum
I took a quick look at your linked site and have seen RJ's thoughts.
Your aims for your website sound excellent, but it's maybe worth a second go at your intro? Do tell us a little more about aNTy, how long have you had her and what have you done so far? What are your future plans for her?
I see your website structure is well thought out and planned, but clearly you need a little more data to help build the story. i'm afraid I cannot help much at present, but once some short term headaches are resolved, I'd be happy for you to include info on my aNty's rebirth - currently a poorly engine and a beautifully powder coated frame, but that's all!

Hi Bob, Good luck with your site. I hope you get plenty of data to fill it. I also have my "own" site about my bike: www.stoeretassen.nl/My_NTV650/Index.htmBut, as you can see, it's more about maintenance than rebuilding. GvS

Some history about my motorcycling adventures here .... bmoore.freeservers.com/I have had my Reverend since last June. Have cleaned her up and added a Puig screen, a Motad exhaust, a new fork stanchion, and some general servicing and cleanup. I actually don't have much more plans than that for her at the moment as I love the original looks and design. Maybe will add some fork gaiters. Actually have a good story about how I came by my Revere, but will save that for another post.

Sorry guys just saying hello to GvS, I used to live in Belgium so picked up some of the lingo ... No, I'm quite common ;D. No blue blood (I had a chance yesterday to check again, because I accidentally cut myself on a sharp knife in the drawer). I got the nick-name "De Graaf van Salland" after my first (& as yet only) hot-air-balloon flight: after the (bumpy) landing the captain 'baptises' you by setting a bit of your hair on fire (which i still had then....) and then (quickly) putting it out with some cheap champagne. Because the area I flew over was "Salland", I got the name "Luftgraf von Salland". Because I'm not german (don't ever confuse a dutchman with a german ) I changed it to "De graaf van Salland". GvS
