You are getting closer to having a rat bike mate :-) Is there a brand selling aftermarket exhausts similar to the original one ? I mean those short exhausts that end before reaching the rear wheel axle ? Motad ones are longer, fuel ones too ... and I like the look of the bike having the right side of the rear wheel almost completely clear, showing the wheel with no arm on that side :-)

To be short: no. At least, I haven't heard of them and have never seen them... Unfortunatly because I too like the short stubby exhaust...

This was the only decent stubby exhaust I could find for a NTV, here mounted on a Bros 650. They say it's a Yoshimura one, but I cant find it on Yoshimura catalog ...

Personally I prefer the limited amount of noise that comes out of my standard (long) exhaust: And I think my neighbours agree when I leave for work at 6:30 in the morning. I like it so much that I've tried to hang on to this exhaust as long as possible: www.stoeretassen.nl/My_NTV650/Uitlaat/Exhaust.htmGvS

The short stubby one doesn't produce much more noise (if any) but that's because the standard one has a collector, which most (if not all) aftermarket ones seem to lack....

I have to say I do like the look of the 2into1 one option, would sound great too. My silencer is looking pretty bad.

I have one of those in my shed, brand new, didnt cost that much, about £40 if i remember right. One problem with them, no baffles, straight through, you can put you hand up the middle! ;D Bottom part (the 2 into 1 part) comes away from the main body. odie
